About the Community
Daufuskie Island
The farm is located on Daufuskie Island, a small barrier island off the coast of South Carolina. Only assessable by boat, this tiny beach community of several hundred residents is uniquely refreshing.
The island has a tight-knit community. Boasting 3 miles of white sand beaches, beautifully untouched maritime forests, limited development, and rich history Daufuskie Island is like no other. Without the modern conveniences of many towns, like a grocery store or a hospital, life on Daufuskie Island is different.
